Dearly beloved players of PSW,

This announcement isn’t one from PSW staff. It’s from a player who voted no to reset. A player who believed with her entire being that reset would be the worst thing that could happen to all of us. A player that didn’t donate real life cash. But a player that donated effort and a lot of her time. Time that I will never regain, time that will go lost.

I’m not the strongest player around. I’m not the player with the highest level. But I did dig for those rotten filthy condoms almost every day I was around. Maybe I didn’t used them in the best way, maybe I didn’t save up like most of you. But i did dig for them, so I know how rotten it is to say yes to something (reset), that will take away that time that gave you your levels, stats and so on.

The time I casted my vote, I thought us was given a choice:
1) - Yes, (reset all players to level 1): Thinking I would lose it all not being compensated for anything. Thinking nothing would change. Thinking the game would fall back in its old state within no time.
2) - No, (I think this is stupid): Thinking we could all continue like this. Adapt to the things as they are. Learn to live with the fact that I will never be a top player because I simply can’t compete with people who do donate real life cash.
3) - I do not care to be honest.

This is not the choice that’s been given to us. After all the suggestions that have been made in the forums, after all the discussions that took place into chat and the the discussions that took place between players and staff, some things became clear.

If we dont vote reset, this game will end. The option to donate already does no longer excist and the game will die. Its not about the fucked up economy, its not about bringing back the fighting. Making suggestions to fix these things in the game in this state wont be used. PK’s decision. Nothing we can do about it. PSW will end, period.

So the real choice thats been given us, is:
1) - Yes, I vote for reset, I lose it all but even if I didnt donate I will get reimbursed probable based on my achievements and possibly my active playing time. Donaters get 1 donordollar for every real dollar they spent on this game.
2) - No. The game dies and PSW ends here.
3) - I don’t give a shit.

All suggestions that have been made in forums will only be looked at if reset will take place. Otherwise they are useless.

Knowing all this now, I’m changing my vote to yes. Only 5 votes untill the poll closes. I don’t want to lose it all either, but it’s either a new chance in an improved game with a compensation for lost time and effort or nothing at all and the end of PSW.
